Rome NY Daily Selects Newzware Suite
The Rome Sentinel goes live with Newzware Circulation, Advertising and Financial software for newspaper management
Hatfield, PA, September 1, 2010 -
ICANON Newzware, North America’s greatest value for integrated newspaper business software
systems announced that The Rome Sentinel has selected and now participates in the Newzware Cloud
environment for Circulation Management, Advertising Order entry and Accounts Receivable, General
Ledger and Accounts Payable applications as well as web self service components selected to
streamline customer service efforts. The Rome Sentinel is a growing daily newspaper with a weekday
circulation just under 14,000 and a Sunday distribution over 24,000.
The Rome Sentinel selected Newzware for its ability to support growth strategies by bringing
efficiency and increased report capability to their circulation and financial management systems.
According to Stephen Waters, Publisher of the Sentinel, “We are pleased that the Newzware
newspaper business system easily interfaces with other standard desktop computing
programs, is platform independent, and is hosted off site in a secure cloud environment maintained

The Rome Sentinel also looks forward to the installation of Newzware Classified Order Entry and
integrated Pagination software as well as Point of Sale and Cash Management applications to round
out the suite of products necessary to serve their central New York clientele.
